White Awareness Roundtable

The White Awareness Roundtable was an invitation-only one-day event held just prior to the Third National Conference on Whiteness in Chicago in 1998. The event was organized by Judith Katz and Jeff Hitchcock. Ten people attended the discussions and two additional persons took part in auxillary roles. The roundtable was an early effort to assembe a national white anti-racist leadership group. Discussions were fruitful, but no written products emerged from the event.
